Portfolio piece Tideline Bodywork is a fictional studio. Hestia’s Creations built this prototype to demonstrate Wix Studio + Velo design capability — not a real business. Licenses, contact details, and forms are illustrative only. Project notes →
§ 62 · Policies

The boring stuff. In plain language, where you can find it.

Cancellation, privacy, intake, accessibility. Everything that should be predictable about working with this practice — never a surprise charge, never a confused permission, never a closed door.

Cancellation & no-show. The whole rule, on one page.

§ 63
Default: 24 hoursboth ways. The studio runs on that window.

Twenty-four hours or more before your start time — free cancel, full refund of deposit, no questions. Use the link in your confirmation email or sign in to the member dashboard. Inside twenty-four hours — fifty percent of the session fee charged automatically to the card on file. No-show — full session fee. After a second no-show inside twelve months, future bookings require prepayment. Late arrivals over fifteen minutes — session ends at its scheduled time at full charge, with no late penalty applied to a same-week rebook.

Exceptions, in plain

Privacy & intake. What's collected, why, and where it lives.

§ 64
What's collected

The intake form. Standard for licensed massage practice.

Name, contact info, emergency contact. Health history relevant to safe bodywork: medications, recent surgeries, current conditions, allergies, pregnancy status. Areas of focus and any pressure preferences. Informed consent and liability waiver, version-stamped — if anything material changes, you're prompted to re-attest.

Where it lives

Stored in Wix Forms. HIPAA-aligned, not HIPAA-certified.

Restricted-access role on the back end; only the practitioner can read full intakes. Records retained seven years per Oregon statute, then purged. Right-to-delete request via the Contact form — flagged within one business day, completed within thirty. Audit log retained seven years per regulation.

Annual re-attestation

Accessibility. Specific is better than vague.

§ 65

A more detailed access list lives on the Contact & Access page. The summary is below.

SMS & communication. Opt-in. Opt-out anytime. CTIA-compliant.

§ 66
Reply STOPto opt out at any time. STOP is honored within minutes.

SMS reminders are opt-in at intake — checkbox, no surprise enrollment. If enabled, you'll receive a four-hour reminder before your session and a confirmation when you book. No marketing texts ever — only transactional reminders tied to specific bookings. Sending window is 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM local. Reply STOP to opt out at any time; STOP is honored within minutes and persists across future bookings until you re-enable. Email reminders are sent regardless of SMS preference at 48 hours and after the session for follow-up.

Scope of practice. What this practice is licensed to do — and what it isn't.

§ 67
In scope

Licensed massage therapy. The hands. The body.

Soft-tissue manipulation for relaxation, recovery, and therapeutic ease. Modality blending, conservative or deep pressure, positioning support, scar mobilisation with provider clearance, lymphatic drainage with provider clearance, and oncology-aware care alongside your treatment team.

Out of scope

Not a substitute for medical care. Referrals readily given.

This practice does not diagnose, prescribe, or treat disease. It is not a substitute for physical therapy, chiropractic care, oncology treatment, or any medical service. If your case needs more than bodywork — and many do — I'll say so and refer to local providers I trust. The honesty is part of the work.

Predictable > surprising. Especially around money and consent.
